Be it a wintry affair by a roaring fire or a midsummer night’s dream, the Tormaukin is a traditional and romantic wedding destination, suitable for small select gatherings of 14 up to larger celebrations of 50 guests. Step inside to experience quirky olde worlde charm, log fires, cosy lounges, and an old pub bar boasting an extensive collection of gins and whiskies.

All weddings at the Tormaukin are exclusive-use and personally organised by our in-house wedding planner, who will be with you every step of the way to help you create your dream wedding, as well as on-hand during the big day itself.
Each and every one of our wedding couples become part of the Tormaukin story, and in turn we become part of yours too.
Wedding Hire (Venue-Only) - From 2,500 to 6,500
The entire Tormaukin House can be hired for a base venue-only rate, which includes exclusive-use of all public & outdoor areas, 14-24 guests staying overnight in our 10 bedrooms, classic set-up/décor, and your ceremony held in our Garden Room (seating a maximum of 30 guests). For the finishing touches, all catering must be provided by ourselves for additional cost, and each menu can be hand-picked to suit - whether a celebratory three-course dinner, a Scottish tasting menu, a street food spread, or a banquet fit for a laird - while your beverages can also be selected, from the wine on the table, to the beer and real ales on draught, and special bottlings of whisky. We can recommend suppliers for your décor, but we are also more than happy to lighten the load and design and arrange the decorations for you - simply let us know what theme/style you have in mind.

Catering & Drinks
Each and every wedding is personally catered by our own in-house private chef from our commercial kitchen, making our offering extremely flexible - the possibilities are endless.
Be it breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner - we can prepare a variety of cuisines, from traditional pub grub to Scottish tasting menus, amazing grazing platters and street food bonanzas, to banquets fit for a laird!

As the house has its own bar, a range of drinks may be pre-ordered before the wedding from our Drinks List to create your own mini-bar. Or you might opt to arrange a fully-stocked bar (subject to a minimum spend fee) for the true pub experience and complete with your own bartender.

'Made for You' Wedding Packages
Designed by our in-house wedding planner, each package includes the ceremony held in our Garden Room (seating a maximum of 30 guests), with standard set-up and décor, but with accommodation and catering (the welcome reception, evening meal and breakfast) varying, depending on guest numbers.
Any number of catering/décor upgrades or extra special touches can also be added on top, tailoring each wedding to suit your taste. All packages exclude drinks, and your bar options can be arranged at extra cost.
The Elopement
14-18 ceremony & evening guests
For a low-key & close knit gathering with your nearest and dearest, highlights include one night's accommodation for up 18 guests, the ceremony held in our gorgeous Garden Room, and a three-course celebratory dinner for all!

Invite your closest family and friends for an intimate wedding, including the ceremony for up to 30 guests, followed by a celebratory three-course dinner for all, and two night's accommodation to sleep 24 (plus a luxury breakfast).
