Be it a winter gathering filled with candlelight and warmth, or a relaxed summer celebration spilling out into the patio garden, The Tormaukin is designed for weddings that feel personal, unrushed, and unmistakably yours. Our historic inn lends itself beautifully to smaller ceremonies and celebrations, from intimate gatherings of around 14 guests to larger wedding parties of up to 70.
Every wedding at The Tormaukin is offered on an exclusive-use basis and planned in collaboration with our in-house team, who will guide you from the early stages right through to the day itself. We take care of the detail so you can focus on enjoying the moment.

Wedding Packages
Our wedding packages have been carefully designed by our in-house wedding planner to offer a beautifully structured starting point, while still allowing plenty of room for personal touches.
Each package includes your wedding ceremony held in our light-filled Garden Room, which can seat up to 30 guests, complete with classic set-up and décor. Accommodation and catering are included as part of each package, with the exact arrangements - including the welcome reception, evening meal, and breakfast - tailored according to guest numbers.
Couples are welcome to enhance their chosen package with a range of catering and décor upgrades, as well as additional bespoke details, allowing each wedding to be shaped around your tastes and priorities.
Please note that drinks are not included within our packages. Bar options can be arranged separately and tailored to your celebration,
at an additional cost.
The Elopement
14-18 ceremony & evening guests
A beautifully intimate celebration for your nearest and dearest.
Enjoy exclusive one-night use of The Tormaukin for up to 18 guests, with your ceremony held in our light-filled Garden Room, followed by a celebratory private dinner and overnight stay.

We work closely with a small collection of trusted local suppliers and skilled artisans who share our approach to quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail - from florists and cake makers to photographers and musicians.

Feasting & Toasting
Every wedding at The Tormaukin is personally catered by our in-house chef from our fully equipped kitchen, allowing for a relaxed and flexible approach to food.
Whether you’re planning a leisurely breakfast, a long celebratory lunch, afternoon tea, or an evening feast, menus are tailored to suit your style - from refined Scottish dishes and seasonal tasting menus, to generous sharing platters and informal, convivial fare.
The inn's bar is professionally staffed throughout your celebration, offering a full selection of wines, spirits, beers, and soft drinks. Drinks packages - such as wine for the table or toast packages - can be arranged as extras in advance to suit your plans and budget, ensuring everything flows effortlessly on the day.
